Yup, some of us do care. The only elected official to ever really reply to my e-mails in direct regard to the salmon issues was Lois Capps.
The salmon issue is fubar'd to the point that I dont think we'll see a "season" here in Ventura for A LONG time.
$$$$$ is what matters, just look at the ridiculous Lobster Punch cards for next season. Recreational take in NOWHERE near commercial take, yet they'll be getting much more $$$$ from us.
