Welcome to The Kayak Fishing Web Site Bulletin Board System (BBS).  The Bulletin Boards are the primary promotional vehicles for our company Coastal Kayak Fishing Inc.  The Boards are here for anglers to network the sport, share information  and generally be a “hub” for kayak anglers everywhere.  To help maintain CKF’s direction and keep the Boards “user friendly”, we have established some editorial guidelines to preserve an informative source for seeking and sharing information.  We strive to publish Bulletin Boards that are both easy to read and suitable for all ages.  With respect to our sponsors, supporters and advertisers who make the Bulletin Boards possible, we ask that you refrain from posting promotional plugs for industry entities (paddle shops, tackle stores, manufacturers, guides, products etc.) that are not advertisers on The Kayak Fishing Web Site.   Industry entities, both active and aspiring and not limited to retailers, manufactures, fishing guides, outfitters, liveries and advertisers* with CKF, are not permitted to post on the CKF Web Site Bulletin Boards. 

Mentioning the name of your favorite lures, kayaks or products when it helps another angler, or to seek information, is always okay.  Out of fairness to our paid advertisers, we do not allow contact information or links in these posts.  Contact information is best emailed to individuals.  Swearing, personal exchanges (use email), personal attacks and posts with false return addresses - regardless of their content - are routinely deleted.
Additionally, we edit the boards regularly for content.  Posts most commonly deleted are often those which are outdated, unanswered/unanswerable, have nothing to do with kayak fishing, double posts, and spam.  We also delete posts that use the Bulletin Boards as a public forum for self serving and conflicting interests.  If one of your posts ever “disappears”, nothing personal.  If the reason doesn't seem to fit our guidelines, feel free to contact us.  In the meantime everyone at CKF hopes the Bulletin Boards serve you well and make the quality of your fishing a little better.   We are always interested in your ideas and suggestions so email us anytime.
